Sam is a senior at an elite private high school, but she definitely has it rough--her dad went to prison the summer before her freshman year at Trinity Academy, her ex-bestie, Jessica, has made it her life mission to make Sam's life hell, and Sam's mom dropped her off with her Aunt Loretta to take off for parts unknown. So music is one of Sam's ways to cope in the midst of all the mayhem while she plots her revenge scheme against Jessica and the school's secret society.
I've shared the playlist containing some of San's favorite songs below. Comment your favorite song from the playlist and it will count as one of the ways you can enter to win!
(See the rafflecopter below for all the ways you can enter.)
Welcome to Trinity Academy’s best-kept secret.
The Society.
You’ve been handpicked by the elite of the elite to become a member. But first you’ll have to prove your worth by making it through Hell Week.
Do you have what it takes?
It’s time to find out.
Samantha Evans knows she’d never get an invite to rush the Society―not after her dad went to jail for insider trading. But after years of relentless bullying at the hands of the Society’s queen bee, Jessica, she’s ready to take down Jessica and the Society one peg at a time from the inside out.
All it’ll take is a bit of computer hacking, a few fake invitations, some eager rushees…and Sam will get her revenge.
Let the games begin.

Don't Sop believing by Journey
ReplyDeleteThis is still one of my all time favorites by Journey! =)
DeleteThis books sounds like a great fun read! I'm looking forward to reading this!
ReplyDeleteI'd have to say that Monster by Skillet is a favorite on the playlist (though I do admit to not knowing many of the songs on the the playlist)
thanks for the chance!
Thanks for the kind words! Monster is a great song. I've seen Skillet in concert, and they did an amazing job performing this one! =)
DeleteEither Control by Halsey or Fight Song by Rachel Platten. Sounds like a great book and a good playlist to go along with it.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Fight song always reminds me of just a fabulous kind of believe in yourself anthem..it's almost impossible not to love it! =)
DeleteIt's so hard to choose because there are so many artists in there that I love(d) years ago that I find myself scrolling the playlist again and again and trying to make a decision.
ReplyDeleteI remember listening to Three Days Grace, Hoobastank, Rascal Flatts, Kelly Clarkson and Linkin Park when I was in high school - and now I'm 27.
These past few months I listened to Cher Lloyd, Halsey and Demi Lovato.
I did say it's difficult, didn't I?
Right now I'm torn between "Move Along" by The All-American Rejects and "Misery Business" by Paramore because they all meant so much to me - their lyrics, their melodies, their everything.
But okay, I can choose.
I choose "Move Along" by The All-American Rejects because even when your hope is gone move along, move along just to make it through, move along.
Hi from Italy, I hope my English wasn't too bad. :)
Your English was fabulous! Thanks for sharing so many of your favorites!! I definitely enjoy lots of the same bands you selected! =) =)
DeleteI am all about Misery Business by Paramore. I drove from NJ to Ohio when my daughter won a meet and greet with them. HUGE fan!
ReplyDeleteI bet that was an amazing time! I'm jealous! (My daughter would be jealous too!) =)
DeleteStressed Out by Twenty-one Pilots is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteTwenty-One Pilots is one of my daughter's favorite bands right now. Great pick!! =)
DeleteFantastic playlist! There's a few I don't know, so I'm enjoying listening to it and maybe finding some new faves. :-D For now, my favourite is Bon Jovi's It's My Life. I love me some Bon Jovi!
ReplyDeleteThanks heaps for the giveaway, and for sharing the playlist. :-)
You're so welcome! I'm glad you're enjoying the playlist. You'll have to let me know if you find any new favorites. And I agree, you can never go wrong with Bon Jovi! =)
DeleteStory of my life
ReplyDeleteI'm not the biggest One Direction fan in the world, but I absolutely love this song too! Thanks for entering the contest! =)
DeleteI like the song last masquerade
ReplyDeleteFighter is also a good song as well
ReplyDeleteBoth great picks! Such driving forces!=)
DeleteIt's my life - Bon JOvi.
ReplyDeleteA couple of years ago, I had fun making a video with my daughter and two of her friends using this song as the background music. Kind of their own version of a music video ha! (not singing, just enacting it) You can see it if you like! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_WzaJG8Mw4
DeleteHuman by Christina Perry
ReplyDeleteI adore just about anything by Christina Perry! =)
DeleteControl by Halsey cause for months now that girl has taken over my life and I'm totally okay with that.
